Karthik Ram Mamidala, PhD student at Lund University

I am a PhD student in nanoelectronics at Lund University working on emerging memory and transistor technologies for low-power computing. My research focuses on the cryogenic operation of ferroelectric devices and resistive memories for future AI and quantum systems. The work contributes to improved understanding of energy-efficient electronic devices.

Georg von Bonhorst, PhD student at Lund University

With a background in physics and atmospheric science, including research on aviation contrails during my master’s studies, I developed a strong interest in addressing climate challenges such as energy consumption at their technological roots. I am currently a PhD student at Lund University, focusing on steep-slope devices based on III–V semiconductors to reduce transistor energy consumption. My work includes device fabrication in the Lund NanoLab (LNL) cleanroom and electrical characterization of both in-house fabricated and partner-provided devices.

André Andersen, PhD student at Lund University

As a PhD student in the Nanoelectronics and Electromagnetics group at Lund University, my research centres on emerging materials and device concepts for next-generation electronics. I focus on compound semiconductors for transistor and memory applications, with particular emphasis on materials integration and interface engineering. My work includes low-temperature integration of ferroelectric HZO on III–V semiconductors, interface characterization of resistive memory devices, and detailed electrical and optical studies of high-k/InAs interfaces.
